ANN ARBOR, MICH. – March 7, 2019 – EntryPoint, the company that accelerates the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, will present on emerging trends in the entrepreneurial and investment community at South by Southwest (SXSW) on March 8 – 9, 2019. EntryPoint Founder and Managing Director, Emily Heintz will participate in the sessions “The Rise of Mobility as a Service” at Inc. Magazine’s Founders House and “Third Coast: Funding Ecosystem in Michigan” at Michigan House.
“Right now, the Midwest is gaining a lot of momentum and national attention for its growing entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said EntryPoint Founder and Managing Director, Emily Heintz. “Research has shown that Michigan has all of the necessary resources to support the growth of additional high-tech businesses – research, capital, talent and a strong, interwoven community – but we still have barriers to overcome. Through these discussions, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the funding climate, trends and innovation happening in the region.”
“The Rise of Mobility as a Service” panel will look at trends in the mobility sector and the impact of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) on mobility operators, communities and end users. The “Third Coast: Funding Ecosystem in Michigan” panel will engage attendees in a discussion about the investment climate in Michigan, including its successes and challenges, which are emblematic of much of the Midwest.
