Jake Nickell serves as a contributing editor at EntryPoint, where he aids in drafting content for research reports, preparing documents for publication, developing advocacy pieces to promote entrepreneurship across the Midwest, and providing support for the implementation of EntryPoint’s data-driven programs. Nickell has also written and published for the World Health Organization, the Iowa Journal of Communication, and has presented written scholarship at a variety of national and regional conferences. Additionally, Nickell is a Lecturer in the Department of Communication for the State University of New York at Brockport, where he teaches research and writing-intensive courses.

Nickell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Criminology from Capital University, a Master of Science in Communication from Illinois State University, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Communication Studies through Wayne State University.
